1. Finding a seat on the subway feels like winning the lottery.
2. I have accepted the fact that I’m probably going to die from second hand smoke.
3. Food is delicious and cheap.
4. According to my Austrian coworker, it was “so American” of me to get excited about free wifi.
5. not having a dryer is a pain in the ass.
6. getting to work and back takes two hours of my life mon-fri.
7. it is a miracle if I can actually leave the office by 6pm.
8. 12:30 - 1:30pm is the most beautiful time of the day…lunch with my awesome coworkers.
9. supervisor + boss = scary scary people.
10. why are kids born in 1994 such giants?!
11. I’m pretty sure my feet don’t touch the ground at some points on the subway.
12. Bringing 10 pairs of shoes was not at all ridiculous…just waiting to see how many pairs I wear out in 3 months.
13. There’s always 3 languages flying around at work.
14. Working in a busy city is exhausting. I think I’m really gonna have to get used to my insane schedule before I have the energy to have fun. But this kind of life really makes you appreciate any tiny thing that happens throughout the day. (;
